
Down below in the basement, Steve will be working on grouting the tile in the man cave alcove and Central Plant, which looks pretty good for a Central Plant.
The tile needed to be fairly small because of the irregularities in the floor, so I got a 3"x6", and it's porcelain so it's very dense and durable. Looks like travartine though.

In a hurry to get it done, I told Steve to just use the same grout we used in the bathrooms. This morning, I selected an alternate that would be better, but he said the Mapei grout is all special order and we have no time. Oh well; as they say in the construction business, it is what it is. And in this case, it's light colored grout.
